Just lower your float, the 831 is not worth it. All you need to do is get spacers let all air out open up spring side (undo top cap and bottom bolt) oil will come out of the bottom save that, then pull the rod out of fork leg slide the litle silver spring down push the spacers onto the rod in between the spring and flange then slide the sprin back up put the rod in pour oil back in through the bottom then close the top cap and bottom nut pump it up and you have a lowered float. Here are the spacers you would need.
